Requirement Profile

Due to its strongly inter-disciplinary character, the Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering welcomes holders of Bachelor degree in a broad range of basic and engineering sciences, for example:

• Chemical Engineering
• Chemistry
• Electrical Engineering / Electrical Engineering and Information Technology
  
• Mechanical Engineering
• Materials Science
• Mathematics
• Physics

To be admitted you must meet the following requirement profile, largely covered by the common elements of the first 2 years of your university education in science and engineering:

Minimum required credits in Mathematics

18 ECTS (or equivalent hours/week), e.g. Analysis I + II + III

Minimum required contents in Natural Sciences

12 ECTS (or equivalent hours/week), e.g. Physics I + II

Minimum required contents in Engineering Sciences

12 ECTS (or equivalent hours/week), e.g. 6 ECTS each from two of the following: Mechanics, Electrical Engineering, Thermodynamics, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Control Systems

Doing the Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering as Continuing Education

In addition to recent Bachelor graduates from universities all over the world, the program is also suited as advanced and continuing education for engineers in industry.
